Glasgow Coronavirus Update
Scotway House Residents - please check your emails regularly for updates from the BOHO team.
During this unprecedented time, Scotway House staff will endeavour to keep business as usual, but due to government recommendations, we may have reduced staff on site. This may have a small effect on services provided but again we will communicate with you accordingly so please check your emails regularly. In addition to the regular cleaning of all areas in our shared social spaces, as well as the lifts, parcel room and bin store we are also scheduling in a deep clean and sanitisation of these areas.
All we ask is that you please be patient during this time, to respect fellow residents and staff members personal space and maintain high levels of hygiene at all times with regular handwashing.
Follow these five steps:
- Wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold), turn off the tap, and apply soap.
- Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap. Lather the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails.
- Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds. Need a timer? Hum the “Happy Birthday” song from beginning to end twice.
- Rinse your hands well under clean, running water.
- Dry your hands using a clean towel or air dry them.
The most important thing is your health and wellbeing. Please do not take any risks. If you are feeling unwell, please stay in your room. Previously the NHS advised you should could call NHS24 on 111 however this has now changed, and you should first visit the NHS website for further advice. To reiterate government guidelines, those with underlying health conditions should do all they can to protect themselves. Please be sure you are following all of the advice from Health Protection Scotland to both protect yourself and to minimise potential risk to others.
